As a Junior UI/Web Designer (m/w/d) you will work closely together with our engineering team and marketing team. You'll work directly with our UI Sorceress to create and update our customer-facing websites and help the marketing team with their design template needs.
Your profile
ResponsibilitiesWordPress Design & Maintenance- Design and update pages, posts, and theme layouts using a page builder and custom CSS (with a strong focus on accessibility, performance, and responsiveness).
- Perform admin tasks such as plugin maintenance, content organization, and website optimization to ensure fast load times.
- Manage integrations including marketing tracking, cookie consent, caching, widgets (e.g., Trustpilot), and similar.
- Build and manage custom forms using Gravity Forms, ensuring usability and accessibility.
- Occasionally tweak JavaScript or PHP for custom functions (e.g., multi-currency selectors, shortcodes) to support advanced layout or UX needs.
User Interface Design for Web App- Collaborate closely with the development team to craft a thoughtful interface and bring new features to our customers.
- Work on building a user-friendly, easy to use, accessible and visually engaging experience for our users.
- Use HTML, CSS, and basic React/TypeScript (with IntelliJ) to help design and style our application (template, forms, interface elements, and components).
Graphic Design
Beyond UI and WordPress, we value design skills that support marketing and branding efforts. While not the primary focus of the role, graphic design plays an important part in supporting our marketing and brand consistency.
- Design assets for ads, flyers, social media, presentations, and other promotional materials.
- Create or adapt vector graphics (e.g., editing stock illustrations, applying brand colors).
- Occasionally assist with interactive PDF form creation (using Adobe InDesign and Acrobat).
- Solid experience with WordPress: layout design, content management, and administration.
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
Your skills- Comfortable writing clean, maintainable HTML & CSS.
- Basic knowledge of React & TypeScript programming (we use IntelliJ as our IDE).
- Experience with tools like Canva, Adobe InDesign, or Photoshop.
- Eye for brand-consistent graphic design and marketing visuals.
Ideal Skills- An eagerness to learn, try new things, and explore ideas
- English level: C1+

Following the Austrian collective bargaining agreement guidelines for IT in category AT, we offer a minimum monthly gross salary of € 2.473 depending on your experience and credentials in Austria. We’re open to part-time employment as well.
