- Liase with external Germany accountants in regards to US/Germany taxes
- Review Germany tax preparations to hand over for submission
Your profile
We are looking for a Tax Accountant Germany (Steuerberater) (m/w/d), with an anticipated start date of May 2024.When it comes to communication, you exchange ideas with colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds using English and German easily. You are good at dealing with many tasks at the same time and prioritizing them correctly. You have a pronounced affinity for numbers, quick comprehension, operational readiness and out-of-the box thinking. You enjoy identifying and designing accounting processes and are happy to look for optimization options
Hard requirements:
- English C1 minimum (company language is English)
- German C1 minimum (working with German Finanzamt & Accounting firms)
- Completed studies in Finance/Accounting or equivelant work experience/certifications
- Buchhalter/in
- Willingness to learn new things
- Strong communication skills
- You are used to taking responsibility and doing things independently
- You can deal with quickly understanding processes and appropriating a meaningful workflow
Ideal skills:
- German CPA/Steuerberater
- Experience with German Tax Law
- Technical proficiency (eg, comfortable using computers and various softwares)

Following the guidelines of the Austrian collective bargaining agreement for IT in category ST1, we offer a minimum monthly gross salary of €2854 but the anticpated range is €3000-€3300 for employment in Austria. Actualy salary will depend on your experience and credentials as well as location, as we anticipate this role being remote, and likely based in Germany. We’re open to part-time employment as well.
